Our programming is designed to nurture the talent and creativity in young people, while giving them a chance to create theatre from beginning to end. We don’t just put them on a stage, we give them the stage as a palette for their creativity.

A link to the student information, and the student handbook will be sent by email two weeks before the beginning of each class. 

You will need to provide a lunch for all extended, and full day students.

Stories to Stage

Theatre is storytelling through action and words. Every story is an adventure, every adventure has a story. Our Stories to Stage classes allow children to act out adventures in a structured and nurturing environment, while learning the basics of acting.

One-week sessions   $275 per week

Magic Wings - June 2-6

Dragons and fairies and flying machines. What adventures may come when you have magic wings!

You have to look closely, but there’s a whole world below the grass.

A Bug's World - June 9-13

Tricksters - June 16-20

Stories about characters who outsmart everyone…even themselves.

The Royal Court - June 23-27

Kings, queens, knights, and princesses inhabit the Royal Court, as does adventure.

Mixed Up Fairytales - July 7-11

What happens when your favorite fairytale characters find themselves in the same Story? Fun!

Exotic Animals - July 14-18

Explore the world of strange creatures of the imagination, and tell their stories.

Farm Fables - July 21-25

Farmers, cows, pigs, and chickens! There are a lot of stories down on the farm. Come help us make a few.

Acting The Adventure

One week, June 2 - 6  $300

Experience theatre through the catalyst of a choose-your-own-adventure book, and dive into the thrills and drama that you make happen.

Improvisation

One week, June 9 - 13  $300

Learn techniques of how to work with other improvisers to spontaneously create stories on stage that entertain an audience.

The Plays the Thing

Two Weeks, June 16-27   $480

Work with others to choose themes, improvise ideas, and develop a play from concept to performance. The class culminates in a presentation of the finished work.

Musical Theatre Academy
Rising 4th-12th Grades

Four Week Musical Theatre Academy

July 7-August 1  $675

Be part of producing three original musicals, fully supported with scenery, costumes and lighting. With music by Michael Huseman, and book by Chuck Tuttle, you will help workshop, rehearse, and perform a musical on the second, third, and fourth fridays.

Performances of Fridays, July 18, 27, & August 1, at 10:30AM and 5:00PM

(Admission to performance is $5. Each student will receive four complimentary tickets to each production)

Thespians and Thieves

One week, June 2-6   $300

Be caught up in a world of intrigue, plots, lore, rouges and thieves. This class will develop your acting and improvisation skills by using the model of a table top role playing game to immerse you in a world of adventure.

Movie Making

One week, June 9-13 $300

Independant film maker Eric Lorinc will guide you through the techniques you need to create your own indie film.

Comedy

Two weeks, June 16-27  $480

If you want to make ‘em laugh, this is the class for you. This class is the first step towards mastering the skills of making funny happen on stage, through the development of comic sketches, to performing them in front of an audience.

Technical Theatre

Four Weeks, July 7-August 1   $675

Would you like to be involved in the making of a play, but don't want to be on stage? Consider trying this class that explores the many jobs and skills used behind the scene. This workshop runs in conjunction with the Musical Theatre Academy, so there are practical applications for everything covered.

One Week (half day sessions), June 23-27   $150

Choreographer Lindsay Fussell will teach jazz, tap, and theatre dance. For older students, she'll throw income hip-hop, salsa, and swing!

After Care

We have limited after care for students in the extended or full day programs.

Refund Policy

80% refund available if requested at least two weeks before class begins.

No refunds will be issued within the two-week window before the start of class.
