FAQ FOR GUESTS

  • All of our tickets are digital. An order confirmation will be sent to the email you provide at checkout that acts as a “digital ticket” for the performance.

However, you may also provide our greeters with your last name before the performance to check in and verify your seat location.

  • Here at CTC, we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your experience, regardless of what you wear. Many visitors choose a casual style, but you may also see others in a dressier style of clothing commonly referred to as “Sunday Best.” The most important part of what you wear is a smile!

  • All of our evening shows begin at 7:30PM and all of our matinees begin at 2:30PM. When you arrive depends on your comfortability level, if you have a parking pass, and if you choose to purchase concessions. However, we do ask that you are seated by the scheduled show time.

  • We do not allow photography or filming during any of our performances. Chattanooga Theatre Centre does retain professional photographers who take pictures for CTC’s marketing and historical purposes. These approved photos are released on Facebook and Instagram and we encourage you to share them!

If you would like to use a CTC photograph, please credit the organization in the caption. If you have a question about using a CTC photo, please contact our Marketing Manager, Rachel Carroll at rachel@theatrecentre.com.

  • Yes! We have reserved spaces in both of our theatres for wheelchairs or those in need of special accommodations. In addition to these spaces, we also have “companion” seats available so parties can sit together.

There are no stairs between our lobbies and the theatres. However, our seating in the Circle Theatre is installed on risers with the first row on the ground level, not requiring the use of steps or stairs.

  • Believe it or not, all of our performers are volunteers!

From our youngest to our most seasoned actors, every person on stage has auditioned, rehearsed for many weeks, and dedicated their free time to bringing live theatre to the Scenic City!

  • No. Out of all the shows produced in a season, there will be several productions not suitable for young people.

Chattanooga Theatre Centre is transparent about including content warnings regarding coarse language, adult themes, potential triggers, and mature situations. We do trust that patrons use their own judgement to determine if a show is suitable to their own level of comfortability before purchasing tickets.

  • Yes!

We love to see groups attend our shows as a part of team-building, supporting each other, or even just for entertainment.

When purchasing 10 or more tickets, please give our box office a call at 423.267.8534 or email hello@theatrecentre.com to secure a group discount and ensure that your party is seated together.

  • Our volunteers give their time and talents to make exceptional theatre, and we want to show them how deeply we appreciate their hard work.

That’s why we have a system in place to allow volunteers to accrue tickets to be used for CTC performances. The amount of tickets is relative to the hours volunteered and all tickets must be reserved ahead of a performance.

  • We have volunteer opportunities for children as young as 13.

You must be at least in 4th grade to perform in a Youth Theatre production, and some of our adult casts have age restrictions based on the nature of the show.
