The Chattanooga Theatre Centre has a 40-year track record of offering quality theatre programming for young people. We strive to be an instrument for their creativity and imaginations by giving them a safe place to explore the possibilities of a story well-told.
We are now ready to bring our work onto an online platform with our first virtual class for children. As part of Remake Learning Days of America, we’re offering “Let’s Make a Story,” which allows for a small group of children to work together to make a story using their bodies, voices, and imaginations. The young story artisans will make characters, creating appropriate costumes and props found in their own homes (with parents’ help), and bring them together in a storyscape of their own invention. What adventures they will encounter and problems they meet will depend on their own choices and ideas.
A limited number of participants are allowed for this one-week, one hour per day event. Access to Zoom is necessary. The ability to text or email photos will be useful.
Limited to 8 participants
We're in need of a makeover for our 100th Anniversary, and we want your help to give our space new life for CTC's next act. When you support the Centennial CakeOver, you're not only celebrating 100 years of high-quality community theatre, you're giving that experience to future generations.
