Sonia Young, The Purple Lady

A Celebration of the Life of Sonia Young, Chattanooga’s beloved Purple Lady, will be held Saturday, March 25, starting at 5 p.m. at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre, 400 River Street. Following the seated program, light refreshments will be served by Lee Towery Catering. Sonia Young was a passionate supporter of the city and for enriching our community, especially in the arts, education, children’s causes, and animal welfare. Please join her family and friends in a commemoration her life which will include a tribute video by Randall Shuptrine, Legacies that Live On. This is an open event for those who wish to pay their respects to this legendary lady. RSVP is requested.
