Founded in 1923, the Chattanooga Theatre Centre is a nonprofit community theatre celebrating its 98th season of bringing quality theatre experiences to the people of Chattanooga and surrounding areas. The mission of the Chattanooga Theatre Centre is to enrich the cultural, intellectual, and emotional development of people of all ages by providing high-quality theatrical experiences and creating opportunities to engage in them.
We pledge to run our theatre in a manner that makes character a cornerstone of our philosophy. As such, we have developed this list of 12 core values–developed by our staff and approved by our board of directors–that we commit to incorporating in all that we do. We encourage everyone in our theatre community to embrace them as we strive to be the best, highest caliber, most inclusive and welcoming community theatre we can be.
