Chattanooga Theatre Centre Welcomes New Marketing Manager

Chattanooga Theatre Centre (CTC) is excited to announce an addition to their administrative staff. Rachel Carroll joined the team earlier this month as Marketing Manager in charge of spreading awareness and drawing support for one of the nation’s oldest and largest community theatres, now in its 99th season.

The CTC family surrounded the organization through the loss of their Marketing Director Julie Van Valkenburg in December. That same family has welcomed Carroll as she steps into the role with the honor of continuing the excellent work done by her predecessor.

Carroll attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre before earning a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from UTC. Since 2017, Carroll has worked in the fundraising and communications fields at several local nonprofits – most recently Chambliss Center for Children. She participated in Artsbuild’s Holmberg Arts Leadership Academy in 2019 and serves on the boards of the Lookout Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and the Brainerd Community Food Pantry.

Rachel Carroll and the dedicated team at Chattanooga Theatre Centre are actively in preparation for the organization’s 100th season which will be announced in April. For more information about CTC, its current productions, and its rich history, visit theatrecentre.com.
