2021 Summer Academy

One- and two-week half-day sessions for rising 1st-12th grade students

The Chattanooga Theatre Centre is delivering summer fun with large doses of creativity at our popular Summer Academy. Your choice of 20 half-day sessions in acting, improv, stand-up comedy, movie-making, dance, and more. Age-appropriate classes for rising grades 1-12. Sessions run June 7 through August 6. Spend your summer at the CTC!

Safety Protocols

To ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, the following procedures will be followed for all classes:

  • Temperature will be checked before entering the building.
  • Masks will be worn at all times in the building.
  • Hands must be sanitized at regular intervals.
  • Safe distancing will be practiced in and outside of classes.
  • The building will be closed between noon and 1:00PM for cleaning.
  • A maximum of 10 students in each class with no interaction with any other class.

Performances

Most of our Summer Academy classes are process oriented and will have no performance at the end of the session. A limited number of classes will substitute a video at the conclusion of the session instead of live performances. These videos will be shared with the participants through an emailed link provided a week after the conclusion of the class.

Enrollment

A minimum number of students must be enrolled for each class to be held.
